FRIENDSHIP or PLASTIC FRIENDSHIP??

653rd BLOG POST -->>

            No. I am not going to do what I did on Raksha Bandhan through this post on Friendship Day. Haha. I would have done the same what I did on RB if you would have asked me to write a post on Friendship till 2010. :-) Or you can say that I matured in 2010 that I understood that Friendship plays a role in life while Brother-Sister(except the real ones. Here I am talking about mooh bola/boli and naatak of these sorts) relationship is a blunder one does. I love FRIENDSHIPS but I hate FRIENDSHIP DAY. Par jo zamaane ke saath nahi chalta usey zamaana jeene nahi deta. Hence, A Very Happy Friendship Day to all the people who consider me as a friend. Yes, I am not wishing any of my FRIENDS as I hate formalities. :-) If you need some help, call me. If I help you out, that would be a FRIENDSHIP DAY from my side. If I turn out to be useless, congratulate yourself for saving 1 rs for every future year that you would have wasted on me for wishing FRIENDSHIP DAY(through SMS on BLACKOUT DAY by Telecom companies). :-)

            I always state that Friendship has nothing to do with the duration. You might become more closer to me in just 3 months than a friend with whom I have been with since my childhood. Mohsin bhai lived with me in the same room in our Hostel for 7 months. He is a friend but his cousin- Rehan Bhai came to stay just for a week and he is much closer to me than Mohsin bhai. This is how Friendship develops. And I also believe that in Friendship, both the person should have more common views than separate ideologies. Some emotional fools would retaliate to this and say,"In Friendship, one does not see these things". And I would say Like a Boss, "Such Friendships don't last longer". And I might start waiting for the day when you will come to me, lie on my feet and say,"Prabhu aap Mahaan ho. Antaryaami ho. Aapne jo kaha wo patthar ki lakeer. Dekho na, wo dost mere behen ko hi leke bhaag gaya. Hamare vichaar kitne alag hain. Maine toh uski behen se Rakhi bandhwayi thi ye soch ke ki Dost ki Behen apni behen". And I might endorse myself and become a tough competitor of Nirmal baba and become visible to all from 12 AM to 7 AM on News Channels then. :-) And the title of this blog might change from "Abhilash Ruhela's Blog" to "Dosti ke Bhagwan- Abhilashnand Baba k Darbaar mein aapka swagat hai" with a tagline of "Agle samagam ki jaankari is Link par uplabdh hai". (Sorry for this PJ) Huh!!!

            Friendship also doesn't require two persons to meet each other- at least ONCE or REGULARLY. Any person who gives you happiness, security, pleasure automatically becomes a Friend. And someone with whom you find yourself most comfortable with, more happy, more secured, trust him/her to the stretch etc automatically becomes your BEST FRIEND. It is not necessary that a Childhood Friend of 15-20 years will always be more Closer to you than a 2 years Junior-college's friend or 3 years Graduation's friend. Of all my Bachpan k Friends, Rohit and somewhat, Gaurav has been the only ones whom I trust till today. What about others? I don't even know if they exist. And the friends from Junior college, from 1-year class that I joined for 12th and from Graduation are more closer than those childhood friends(if they exist). Sometimes a childhood friend does irritate us,"Main tere bachpan ka dost hun fir bhi tu us naye dost k saath Sunday ko hang-out karne gaya mujhe jhooth bol ke. Tere se bada dhokebaaz nahi dekha maine". And with a face conveying "Bitch Please", you talk to yourself,"Abey isey koi roko. Isko pata nahi hai ki iski mere zindagi mein do kaudi ki aukaat nahi hai. Aur jinki ye baat kar raha hai unme se 2 ne mere admission mein help ki, baaki 2 ne mere mummy k operation k samay aur baaki 1 ne mujhe exam k liye Maths padhaya tha". :-)

            The most cruel truth that I know(observed) is "Any Friend that you have is for your Personal benefit". Yes!!! This is one of the most Bitter Truths that you'll have to digest(if you are reading this post). :-) At some places, FRIENDSHIP would be because the friend is financially strong and takes you at places where you could never visit with the kind of pocket money you get from your middle-class parents. Then, with some you could be because you know that the person is good in Mathematics/Projects/Contacts and might become a big support for you in future. Then, it can be because the person has a very interesting sister whom you are eyeing upon. :-) OR it can be one for which I am selfish in Friendship, "I generally don't let such people go from my side whom I can pass my time with, who makes me laugh, who keeps listening to me without interrupting :-) and the ones who share the same ideologies like me". So, FRIENDSHIP is first about SELFISHNESS of any Kind and then about anything else. Thus, duration(as mentioned above) also fails in front of this. Because the Childhood friends those you have left behind has nothing which can be beneficial for you. And if they might turn Very Important Persons tomorrow, you might search for their contact numbers and get it anyhow. And develop a PLASTIC FRIENDSHIP(I am going to get this Term Patent today itself) :-)

          So this is all that I want to speak on Friendship Day if you want to hear me. :-)

P.S.: At last I did what I did two days back on Raksha-Bandhan. Haha. I am Polemic. :-)

  Thanks.

I liked the lines "Jo zamaane ke saath nahi chalta ,usey zamaana jeene nahi deta.So true ,it kinda resonates with my life. You end up being a loner,if you don't follow the ideologies of the world.
