Why are we so Religiously Intolerant?

1350th BLOG POST -->>

       Recently, there was a news that people became quite violent and attacking when they saw a tattoo of Hindu God on the leg of a foreigner. Well, is this the only news of this kind in recent times? Definitely no as we have been continuously reading such news of religious intolerance nowadays. People are becoming too possessive about their religion with each day and it is becoming very hard for people from two different communities to gel up together because of the tension around them. A debate somehow starts between the two parties and even if they aren't as devoted to their religion as some really obsessive people are, they end up defending their God and in return, starts mentioning many flaws of the opponent's religion. Finally, they end up sharing a very quarrelsome moment and sometimes it takes a very harmful turn when one of them becomes violent.

             I do not understand how can people fight with someone if the person is abusing his/her God intentionally. And here, the question lies in how people are attacking someone who have done the same unintentionally. It is as if I go to a Masjid being a Non-Muslim to devote myself part-time in Islam and the people in the Mosque end up thrashing me for taking their religion too casually and considering it to be a part-time affair with their God. Actually, such acts should be appreciated if someone is trying to know your God and in the process, ends up doing something silly or hurtful. We should make the person understand our religion little better with the guidance of not more than 5 minutes before it becomes a forced attempt of making the person feel bullied for converting him in your religion.

            And even if you find few people out there mocking your God and making fun of your religious sentiments by abusing your almighty, you should actually smile at them and make them feel the strength your religion have provided you that such stupid bullying and teasing does not affect you. In your mind, you should be enough confident that your religion can never get smaller by the few bad and belittling words of ordinary people. In fact, you should be proud of belonging in the religion that makes people insecure about it which makes them do avoidable activities. You will always find people cribbing about the boss and project manager. You will never find 6 employees standing together in lunch break and gossiping about the peon. Always the important and best people out there who rules your life are talked about. And if people are talking about your God and religion leaving the uncountable religions aside, you should be proud of your presence under the religion you belong.

           I still can't understand how people turn hyper when they find their God not being respected by a section of people. Do you really feel that the person whom you pray, follow and devote is so weak that it will suffer if someone speaks ill about it? Haven't you seen mythological series where even when our God is humiliated in public, he keeps smiling which infuriates the demon more than before which results in his demise? Why are you forgetting those little things you loved about God when you were child? With age and maturity, why have you become so serious about issues related with your religion, caste, region etc? In fact, start feeling good about your following whenever you find someone else speaking or doing against it. Project that it's power has started affecting others who have started feeling that they are following the weaker one. But even after that, respect his/her belief as much as you respect yours. Don't end up doing the same with him what he was doing with you a little time before. OM SAI RAM!!! :)

 Thanks.

The Difference between BEING LONELY and BEING ALONE!!!

1349th BLOG POST -->>

       Most often, I like to spend time with myself. I do not meet with many people. Even the people who want to meet me are being avoided intentionally. I become emotionless towards the emotion that few great people have for me. I avoid people and as soon as I realize that someone wants to spend time with me, I start feeling awkward right from the first moment of this realization. It is tough for me to understand the quality time that people talk about. I do not understand the concept of quality time when you are meeting the same person or set of people almost twice-thrice in a week. I mean how is it quality then? It's more quantitative. Isn't it? I feel the best moment that I have had in life when I got to understand the deep meaning of philosophy that these legendary literati write in their epic books only when I have been all alone in my bedroom concentrating with best of my abilities towards something that I have always wanted to have.

            Most people fail to understand my lifestyle. Earlier they used to call me psycho but later on, when they saw many other people advocating the same, they stopped calling me names but still they find no problem in calling me weird in front of me. They find it funny and nonsense that someone does not get that urge to meet his friends when he hears of some kind of hang-out or trip taking place. They are unable to decipher how does one passes an evening without moving out of his bedroom and having a walk with his friends and sharing all the naughty things they imagined about throughout the day. Hence, many of them have started calling me LONELY. Well, you call me psycho, weird, silly, idiot, stupid, asshole. It does not hurt. But being subscribed to the word- LONELY is quite hurtful and unacceptable.

            There's a big difference between choosing to stay ALONE and being LONELY. I am from the former category where I have immense opportunity to meet with people, keep talking for hours and come back home after midnight, drop my bag, change my cloth and directly lie on bed for a peaceful sleep so that I can charge for the same routine again. May be this could be the lifestyle of few people and they might be finding it to be very successful in letting them forget their worrisome history or unstable present or dark future. But for me, whenever I am spending hours with people regularly, I find myself losing many precious hours and days and months and I find myself a worthless creature on this planet whose existence is of no importance to the society.

             I am not saying that otherwise I am modern Gandhi who is enlightening the soul of this new generation and building up a force which will take India towards development but at least I find that quote quite effective and true which says of being the change you want to see in the world. By doing that, at least we find the world around ourselves nearly perfect and the source of frustration reduces and you start seeing positivism all around. Only by staying alone, Gautama Buddha reached the stage of nirvana. Only by staying alone did Gandhi decide of various movements that resulted in people coming together in strength against dictators. Only in isolation did Arnold build the physique that no one ever imagined him with. Graham Bell, Thomas Alva Edison, Newton, Steve Jobs, APJ Abdul Kalam etc are other great examples who created something that changed world only when they chose to stay away from the chaos.

             Coming to the modern example, Shahrukh Khan, the superstar, himself says that in the first two decades of his career, the kind of spotlight under which he lived, he kept meeting, socializing and partying with so many people that he lost the person he was before entering the industry. Because he couldn't understand what he was and what he wanted from life, he started getting frustrated from life which resulted in Shirish Kunder-slap, Wankhede-brawl, Salman Khan-fight etc. Only after such incidents he decided to find himself back and the only one option that he found was of stopping to meet people without reasons and spend as much time as possible in isolation with himself. The result of which, he says, is that he feels very peaceful and matured now. And he is very confident about not doing those unwanted stuffs and humiliating himself more than anyone else.

             When such big legends have found that ONE reason which made them an immortal personality by practicing something, I don't find any reason to sit with people, crack jokes, laugh on their jokes, plan about some trip, gossip about some friend and finally end up spending my whole weekend in executing that trip and then again talking everyday for the next one week of the funny things that happened during the trip. This is just not my idea of living life. And I am happy that I have learnt to isolate myself from people from last 6 years and I still don't feel bad or sad when I see my classmates sharing their selfies on Facebook and checking in at some wonderful place. I believe that I have found whatever little bit I am after I started spending time with myself with a small diary that I write and by doing things that I feel was good to bring ray of light in the big tunnel of future which always looks dark without any efforts towards breaking and finding a way out of it.

              Lonely is the person who feels isolated even when he is in a group of people. In a party, you will always find a person sitting alone somewhere in the corner looking in his mobile to avoid awkwardness- That person is lonely. Once, I used to be that but it's a long time back. Now, I make sure that whenever I am out for party or trip even if it's once in three years, I am there with the people and making the most of the moment. This is the reason why few people want to spend time with me because whenever I do, I try to give them one of their best times by cracking jokes and talking about things no one else will talk with them. That's not lonely, right? But when I chose to stay alone, it is for self-development and self-realization which is equally important in life as having education and earning money. Do it and you will also enter that part of yourself whom you had never met before even when it always walked with you wherever you went. :)

 Thanks.

1348th BLOG POST -->>

        4 days have already passed but I would like to inform all of you about this magical Literature Fest which is currently taking place named- LitFestX. It is a new age global literature platform.

           LitFestx brings to you an entirely Virtual, Social & Interactive Literary Festival!

           Your favourite authors, writers, thought leaders your way! On mobile, tab, pc.

        LitFestx is an initiative by LEAPVAULT!- The same group which also initiated India's first ever Non-fiction Fest.

           I am personally promoting this literature fest because I have only associated myself with their Non-fiction fest which I found something unique and new. Similarly, LitFestX is the first initiative which is helping the readers hear their favorite authors speak on Youtube, Google Hangout rather than physically traveling somewhere to do the same. They can also ask questions during the live event and hear their author answering to their query. The good thing as of now is that because it's happening for the first time, not many people are participating which can help you in getting the answer of your question from your favorite celebrity very easily.

            The fest shall go on till 1st November and until then, there are many more sessions with many more incredible personalities.

              To follow the schedule and sessions--> CLICK HERE to access the official website of the Festival.

            My best wishes to Kumaar Bagrodia!

 Thanks!

A Trip To Salman Bhai's Farm House!!! ;)

1347th BLOG POST -->>

              I am considered to be the most boring person in any of my rings of friend circle that I am part of. Whenever there are talks of any kind of hang-outs or money expenditure, the kanjus in me overshadows all the energetic emotions I have and I part myself from the discussion. Sometimes my ambition of working on myself towards improvement drags me away from such things that I consider wastage of time. But because few cool people have said that TRAVELING teaches you a lot of things about life, I feel that it should be tried sometime for sure. Not today, not tomorrow, not in next 3 years too but sometimes for sure, it will be done for experiencing the pleasure the traveler gets. As of now, all the focus lies in saving money for a great future and family life.

           But leaving the philosophical and serious things behind, I want to share a little fun I had in riding 80 kilometers and touching many places which are part of my town but I had no idea about. The main purpose of my friend, Siddhant and I, for which we just left our home at 1.30 PM in afternoon on Dusserah was to search Bhai Jaan's farm house. Yes! If you know that Salman Khan's favorite place to chill and relax is just few kilometers away from your area, why won't you visit it? On my Splendor Plus, both of us without the address and without any idea which road to take, just started our journey after filling 100 rs petrol. This is why it's sensible to own a normal bike like Splendor Plus rather than Pulsar/Unicorn. Even after dragging it for 80 kilometers of unusual roads, we were able to move the fuel needle by just 1 mm.

           At last, after riding for some 50 kms, when we understood that it would be impossible to spot Bhai's farm house, we just started enjoying the environment without any expectations. It was hard to believe that some place is so cold while we are suffering with one of the hottest October days just 20 kilometers away. The greenery, the silence, the unpolluted air, endless fields, high mountains, numerous farm houses at the distance of 100 meters and a bottle of coke with us gave a day that both of us shall always remember. And after we finished our coke by sitting under a tent which some great human being would have made and left after his eventful time, we thought of riding for a little more on the same road than returning back.

          And that's when we hit the jackpot. Just after riding for 100 meters from there, we read the name "Arpita Farmhouse", left the bike, ran towards the place like mad, and started speaking idiot things in happiness and surprise element of the moment. We started taking pictures of the farmhouse from all the sides that were accessible to us and were happy that we are standing on the road which BHAI JAAN often walks on. I know it is crazy to be smitten by such superstars who have few crimes under their name but any celebrity is a celebrity and coming closer to them in any sense is a kind of achievement for 2 Rs people like us. I am sharing some pictures of the places we discovered in search of ARPITA FARMHOUSE so that you can also experience the serene beauty of this planet.

 Salman Bhai, thanks for unknowingly giving us happiness and a day full of bike riding and traveling. Haha! Hope to meet you soon in your farmhouse. :-)

 Thanks.
